Sketch file structure

Pages

On your sketch file its always better to keep your page’s name clear and understandable. The best practice is to use the module or sprint item name.

Naming can be based on module, sprint item name or persona.

Artboards

Your artboards must be super clean, so that other team member can easily pickup the file. When aligning your artboard, you should start with the cover artboard with the sprint or module name.

After you have this cover, you should start with the user story flow.

TIPS

You need to name your artboard properly, so that when you share the screen you can refer to the artboard number.

If you see on the screenshot the artboard naming sorted from 001-accounts until 012-accounts.

You can use “Rename It” plugin to get this done quickly.
